Downsizing Vote-Tues, Sept 29
at the Alden Town Hall, Wende Rd
11am-7pm
Regular Town Hall Meetings: 1st & 3rd Monday 7:30pm
Town Board Work Sessions: 2nd & 4th Monday 7:30pm
"Comments from the Floor" are usually on the agenda at a Regular meeting , but the are at the descretion of the Supervisor at a Work Session. Whenever comments are welcome, we hope that you will make your feelings known, presents any findings and facts that you think are important.
Your attendance at these meetings is extremely important regardless of the agenda. Your presence reminds the board that this is to be a Government FOR the People, BY the People. If you can attend any meeting, please make notes
and send them to us to share with others.
Town Board meets every Monday @ 7pm
Planning Board meets the 2nd Tuesday
(except for holidays and other conflicts)

WHAT CAN I DO?????
1) Attend meetings (town, village, chamber, etc)
2) Write letters (to editors, to Supervisor Smith, etc)
3) Be Vocal and BUY LOCAL (Put your money where your house is)
4) Tell your local independent merchant that you are supporting him/her and you understand the importance of supporting local businesses.
5) When you're shopping in other towns, suggest to the managers that they come to Alden's old Ames Plaza.
6) email us your comments to post on our blog
7) let us know your suggestions too!
