Hello fellow Aldenites:
I am a life long resident of Alden. I have chosen to live here for all of the reasons that have already been mentioned. I purposely chose to raise my family here where my children would be safe, could breath fresh air, where we already knew most all of the other parents because we went to school with them ourselves. My family has been here for six generations. That could end with this one if my town turns into another Cheektowaga.
There are people who have been quoted as saying that they hate this town because it doesn't have a major shopping center. That they don't feel any loyalty to support their local independent businesses in the village. To them I say... Alden Love it or Leave it.
